Wild Turkey Adventure
Day 1: Istanbul
Arrive at the airport where you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
ISTANBUL - URFA
A tour of the city Istanbul. (Hagi Sophia, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Basilica Cistern will be visited with guide). In the afternoon fly to Urfa. We will visit this oriental style Eastern Anatolian city where people believe Prophet Abraham was born.
URFA - MT. NEMRUT
We will visit the remains of 2000 years old civilization which played an important role of being a bridge between Hellenism and Eastern cultures. See the most important King Antiachos’s tomb which is located on top of 2150 m. mountain.
CAPPADOCIA
We will drive to Cappadocia today. On this journey experience the change of the landscape and the culture between Eastern and Central Turkey.
CAPPADOCIA
Visit Goreme open air museum. Then we will drive to Zelve open air museum which was used as a village since Byzantine era. After visiting the site we will have lunch here and continue to Uchisar Castle which was used as a watch tower once. We will watch Turkish folk show tonight.
CAPPADOCIA
Start the day little bit late and visit Kaymakli Underground city. After some more sightseeing we will drive back to our hotel. In the evening perhaps experience Turkish Bath.
CAPPADOCIA – KONYA – KOPRULU CANYON
We will start early and first drive to a Caravanserai which was used as a hotel for the caravans at ancient times. After the Caravanserai continue to Konya. We will have lunch here and continue to Koprulu Canyon for overnight.
KOPRULU CANYON – KAS
Drive to Kas and enjoy the Turkish Riviera which is also called torques coasts of Turkey.
KAS – MINARE VILLAGE (HOME STAY)
We will start the day late and first drive to Kalkan which is a little town on the torques coasts. Then continue to Minare village.
MINARE VILLAGE – BLACKTREE
Start our Lycian trekking today. We will walk 6 to 7 hours to a village called Karaagac (Black Tree). Walk through ancient Lycian city Pinara during the walk. Also we will have a picnic lunch before Karaagac Village.
BLACKTREE – OLUDENIZ - FETHIYE
Walk for 3 to 4 hours today to Faralya village which is located on Butterfly Valley. Then we will be transferred to Oludeniz. After spending some time at this beautiful beach famous for its lagoon, we will drive to Fethiye.
FETHIYE
Today is a free day to explore the town. Perhaps take a full day boat tour and enjoy the turquoise bays of Fethiye Gulf.
FETHIYE - DALYAN
After the breakfast you will drive to Dalyan. After check in we will do a boat tour on Dalyan River. During the tour we will experience a mud Bath, swim at Koycegiz Lake, & see the best Lycian rock cut tombs and visit the beach where the logger head turtles come to nest.
ISTANBUL
We will fly to Istanbul today. The afternoon is free.
ISTANBUL
Tour ends after breakfast.
